I was looking at the moon and really realized that I was seeing the sun’s light; only in a different way, or from a different perspective. I was seeing the same light, only from a different source. We should all strive to be the moon. We can all shine God’s love for others to see.
God is always surrounding us, we just have to realize it and see the many forms and sources of Divine Light. When something goes wrong in our life we shut down our ability to feel Love. When we worry we put everything on ourselves and believe we should have control, or do something to gain control. When we make a mistake we feel ashamed and unworthy. Whenever something like this happens, feel yourself shut down, and then consciously stay open. Realize that whatever happened is not truly important in the eternal perspective, and God always Loves you and is available. Clear and free your mind from the external situation and embrace the peace and love of the internal environment. After you do this, once again look at the outside situation and make decisions. The joy to be had in everything is the remembrance that none of this is permanent and that all that really matters is love.
